Computer Technician
We are looking for an experienced Computer Technician to join our team in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, repairing and diagnosing computer systems efficiently and with precision. The ideal candidate will excel in hardware diagnostics, effective repairs, and maintaining high productivity levels.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Diagnose hardware issues in desktops and laptops, including components like hard drives, power supplies, and motherboards.<br>• Utilize diagnostic tools and manual inspections to accurately identify system failures.<br>• Perform repairs and ensure all components, such as wires, peripherals, and network cables, are properly reconnected.<br>• Conduct post-repair checks to verify system functionality, including successful boot-ups and imaging processes.<br>• Handle a high volume of repairs, completing 30-50 units daily while maintaining quality and efficiency.<br>• Follow established procedures to ensure repaired systems meet operational standards.<br>• Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals in a fast-paced work environment.<br>• Maintain and organize tools and workstations to ensure smooth repair operations.
• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing computer hardware issues.<br>• Proficiency in working with desktop and laptop components, including hard drives, power supplies, and motherboards.<br>• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and techniques for pinpointing system failures.<br>• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.<br>• Strong attention to detail when reconnecting components and verifying system functionality.<br>• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple repairs daily.<br>• Knowledge of associated hardware, computer hardware, and cable installation.<br>• Experience with Dell technologies and Apple devices is a plus.
