We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a pre-revenue pharmaceutical company, focusing on reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and supporting the Controller. If you have a strong background in accounting and are skilled in NetSuite, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.<br>• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to maintain data integrity.<br>• Handle bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.<br>• Manage general ledger entries and maintain detailed records.<br>• Post journal entries and ensure proper documentation for audits.<br>• Support month-end close processes, including adjustments and reporting.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.<br>• Collaborate on intercompany accounting tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy.<br>• Work closely with the Controller to address financial queries and improve processes.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.<br>• Proficiency in NetSuite and familiarity with its accounting modules.<br>• Strong skills in account reconciliation, balance sheet analysis, and bank statement reviews.<br>• Expertise in general ledger management and journal entry preparation.<br>• Solid understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.<br>• Experience with intercompany accounting and transactions.<br>• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
