Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking a Full Cycle Accountant for an on site opportunity with our client in the St. Louis area. This is a great role for a hands on accounting professional who enjoys owning the full accounting process, supporting multiple entities, and contributing to operational and process improvements.<br><br>In this position, the Accountant will manage full cycle accounting responsibilities and oversee the daily accounting function. Duties will include maintaining the general ledger, completing account reconciliations, supporting month end close, and preparing accurate financial records and reporting. The Accountant will also assist with process improvements and may contribute to system implementations as the company continues to grow.<br><br>Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a financial focus. Previous experience in a full cycle accounting role is required, along with the ability to manage multiple companies and shifting priorities. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in improving accounting processes are important for success. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a financial focus.<br>• Proven experience in full cycle accounting roles, including managing multiple entities.<br>• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.<br>• Familiarity with preparing and filing sales tax reports.<br>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.<br>• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.<br>• Experience with accounting system implementations is a plus.<br>• Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
