<p>Our client, a successful and well-established law firm, is seeking a paralegal to join their team. This role focuses on supporting plaintiff personal injury litigation and involves managing various aspects of legal casework. The successful candidate will play an essential role in facilitating communication among clients, attorneys, and medical providers.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Boston, MA</p><p><strong>Role: </strong>Personal Injury Paralegal</p><p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Hybrid (4 days in office, Fridays remote)</p><p><strong>Salary: </strong>$65,000 - $82,000 (DOE) + great benefits! </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage personal injury files from intake through settlement or trial.</li><li>Maintain case calendar, track deadlines, and schedule appointments.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate documentation and file organization.</li><li>Serve as primary point of contact for clients.</li><li>Provide regular case updates and respond to client inquiries.</li><li>Obtain and review medical records and bills.</li><li>Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and settlement demands.</li><li>Assist with preparation for depositions, mediations, and trials.</li><li>File legal documents with courts and manage e-filing systems.</li><li>Conduct background research on defendants, witnesses, and insurance coverage.</li><li>Request, organize, and summarize medical records and bills.</li><li>Work directly with the Managing Partner to support high-level case strategy.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Requirements: </strong></p><ul><li>1 or more years of paralegal experience in personal injury law (plaintiff-side preferred).</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).</li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.</li></ul>
