Paralegal/Personal Injury Case Manager
<p>We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal/Personal Injury Case Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and either Spanish or Portuguese, with a strong background in personal injury law and case management. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle pre-litigation and litigation processes effectively.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and medical providers to gather and exchange information.</p><p>• Utilize case management software to track case progress and maintain detailed records.</p><p>• Assist with pre-litigation processes, including drafting demand letters and coordinating settlements.</p><p>• Support litigation efforts by preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.</p><p>• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.</p><p>• Conduct legal research as needed to support case strategy and ensure compliance with relevant laws.</p><p>• Translate and interpret documents for clients who speak Spanish or Portuguese, ensuring clear communication.</p><p>• Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies and meet deadlines.</p>
<p>• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law or related legal field.</p><p>• Fluency in English and proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.</p><p>• Proficiency in using case management software to organize and track case details.</p><p>• Strong understanding of pre-litigation and litigation procedures.</p><p>• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.</p><p>• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.</p><p>• Familiarity with laws and regulations related to personal injury plaintiffs.</p><p>• Legal research and document drafting skills.</p>
