Our trusted client is seeking a Controller Consultant for a long-term engagement. In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of transactional accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a lean and dynamic environment while managing essential financial operations. This hybrid role will report directly to the CFO. The day-to-day responsibilities include: • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks, including preparation of financial reporting packages.• Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of bi-monthly payment runs.• Perform reconciliation and journal entries related to the organization’s investment portfolio.• Handle monthly depreciation accounting for bank securities backed by home loans.• Prepare and submit regulatory call reports on a quarterly basis.• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all accounting activities.• Collaborate with internal teams to review financial reports and maintain accuracy.• Monitor cash flow and assist in treasury management activities.• Maintain detailed records of all accounting transactions and processes.• Provide support during organizational transitions as needed.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set: • Proven experience in corporate treasury and treasury management.• Strong knowledge of global treasury operations and cash management.• Expertise in month-end close activities and journal entries.• Familiarity with regulatory reporting processes, including call reports.• Ability to manage accounts payable processes efficiently.• Proficiency in financial reconciliation and depreciation accounting.• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
