Our trusted client is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager consultant for a long-term engagement. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience preparing complete consolidated financial statements under US GAAP. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of financial reporting requirements and disclosure standards, combined with a proven track record of working in large public accounting or detail-oriented services firms. This is a long-term hybrid contract position offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity. The day-to-day responsibilities include: • Prepare comprehensive consolidated financial statements under US GAAP, including all necessary disclosures.• Ensure accurate and proper presentation of the Statement of Cash Flows.• Conduct thorough research to understand specific financial reporting requirements and apply them effectively.• Collaborate with internal teams to manage month-end close processes and maintain the general ledger.• Perform account reconciliations and ensure all journal entries are completed accurately and timely.• Lead the preparation of complete financial statement packages, ensuring all components are accurately integrated.• Support financial statement audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.• Provide insights and recommendations to improve existing accounting processes and systems.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical accounting, with a focus on preparing consolidated financial statements.• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financial disclosure requirements.• Hands-on experience with month-end close processes, general ledger maintenance, and journal entries.• Strong background in financial statement audits and account reconciliation.• Proven ability to prepare complete financial statement packages independently.• Experience working in large public accounting or detail-oriented services firms.• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
