Payroll Accountant
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Billerica, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a key part in managing payroll activities, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong payroll expertise to contribute to a dynamic organization.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Collect and verify payroll-related changes from the HR department to ensure accurate processing.</p><p>• Oversee time and attendance tracking to maintain precise employee records.</p><p>• Upload and manage retirement plan contributions, including Fidelity 401(k), to meet deadlines.</p><p>• Process biweekly payroll while adhering to company policies and procedures.</p><p>• Utilize payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian for efficient payroll management.</p><p>• Preparing a reconciliation of approved hours to Workforce Now.</p><p>• Posting edits, payroll adjustments, and corrections as necessary.</p><p>• Inputting bonuses, retro pay, and shift differential pay into ADP.</p><p>• Assisting with the review of the pre-process register to ensure accuracy of payroll data.</p><p>• Handling the receipt and opening of the payroll package.</p><p>• Mailing payroll checks as required.</p><p>• Responding to employee inquiries and</p>
<p>• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP Financial Services</p><p>• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian</p><p>• Familiarity with Crystal Reports and About Time</p><p>• Knowledge of 401k and RRSP Administration </p><p>• Understanding of Accounting Functions and Auditing</p><p>• Proficiency in accrual accounting and general accounting principles.</p><p>• Experience with financial auditing and reporting processes.</p><p>• Solid understanding of Concur or similar expense management software.</p><p>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</p><p>• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate clearly.</p>
