Server Administrator**Please note, this is a hybrid role 2-3 days/week onsite in Atlanta, GA. Please do not apply if you're not local to Atlanta and willing to be onsite** This position is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable managing traditional on‑premises Windows Server environments and modern cloud‑based infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. You’ll be responsible for server administration, storage management, backup operations, and ensuring the stability and security of mission‑critical systems. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Windows Server environments (2012–2025).</li><li>Support hybrid infrastructure deployments leveraging Azure services such as Azure AD, Azure VMs, and Azure Storage.</li><li>Manage on‑prem and cloud‑based Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related core services.</li><li>Oversee storage systems, including provisioning, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.</li><li>Manage and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication for on‑prem and cloud workloads.</li><li>Troubleshoot server, network, and application issues across hybrid environments.</li><li>Implement security best practices, patching schedules, and compliance standards.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and clients to design and deploy infrastructure solutions.</li><li>Document configurations, procedures, and environment changes.</li></ul>

Required Skills & Experience<ul><li>Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022/2025).</li><li>Proven background supporting hybrid environments (on‑prem + Azure).</li><li>Solid understanding of Azure IaaS, Azure AD, and related cloud services.</li><li>Expertise with Veeam Backup & Replication (configuration, monitoring, restores).</li><li>Experience with storage systems (SAN/NAS), file services, and performance tuning.</li><li>Proficiency with virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V and/or VMware).</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, networks, and applications.</li><li>Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Microsoft certifications (AZ‑104, AZ-305)</li><li>Experience with security hardening and compliance frameworks.</li><li>Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).</li><li>Experience supporting multi‑tenant or MSP environments.</li></ul>
