Contract Attorney
<p>Boutique law firm has an immediate opening for a contract Attorney on a remote or hybrid basis in the Silicon Valley. This is a contract position supporting business litigation matters, including trial preparation and throughout the phases of the litigation lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience civil litigation, including trial experience, and will contribute to critical cases involving contract disputes and employment matters. This attorney must be licensed to practice in CA and reside in the state; remote work will be considered for those outside of the SF Bay Area.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p>• Collaborate with lead counsel on high-stakes litigation cases.</p><p>• Participate in comprehensive trial preparation, including drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.</p><p>• Manage discovery processes, including document review and analysis.</p><p>• Provide legal support across all phases of the litigation lifecycle, ensuring thorough and timely case management.</p><p>• Handle complex business litigation matters, offering strategic insights and solutions.</p><p>• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making.</p><p>• Support additional cases as required, including drafting motions and briefs.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with the legal team to ensure alignment on case objectives.</p><p><br></p>
<p><strong><u>Qualifications: </u></strong></p><p>• Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with federal court exposure.</p><p>• Active license to practice law in California.</p><p>• Strong background with trial preparation, including ideally having chaired a trial.</p><p>• Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents without reliance on AI tools.</p><p>• Availability to start immediately, with flexibility for part-time hours prior to ramp-up to full-time if needed. Full-time hours are immediately available. </p>
