Paralegal
<p>We are looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia, on a Contract-to-Permanent basis. This role focuses on litigation or family-based immigration cases, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work onsite to meet with clients. For immediate consideration, apply TODAY and contact Grace Nowlin at (202) 998-8423 for additional information.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress.</p><p>• Prepare and file legal documents with federal courts, particularly for litigation or family-based immigration cases.</p><p>• Conduct discovery processes, including document review and organization.</p><p>• Assist in trial preparation by compiling evidence, drafting legal briefs, and coordinating schedules.</p><p>• Maintain case management systems to ensure accurate and timely tracking of case details.</p><p>• Collaborate with the Managing Attorney and other team members to support case strategy.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with court filing deadlines and procedural requirements.</p><p>• Provide administrative support during client meetings held onsite.</p><p>• Manage case files and organize records for easy retrieval.</p><p>• Research legal precedents and summarize findings to support case development.</p>
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in litigation or family-based immigration.<br>• Proficiency in case management software to track and organize case details.<br>• Strong understanding of civil litigation processes, including discovery and trial preparation.<br>• Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and team members effectively.<br>• Ability to work onsite in Alexandria, Virginia, to attend client meetings.<br>• Knowledge of federal court filing procedures and requirements.<br>• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.<br>• Familiarity with legal research and document preparation techniques.
