<p><strong>&#128680; Hiring: Benefits Senior Accountant (Remote)</strong></p><p> Our client is seeking a highly skilled <strong>Benefits Senior Accountant</strong> to join their remote Accounting team. </p><p>This role is critical to ensuring the accurate accounting, reconciliation, and payment of employee benefit-related expenses, including medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, and more.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage benefit vendor billing, payments, and reconciliations</li><li>Ensure accuracy across payroll deductions, vendor charges, and general ledger entries</li><li>Lead month-end close activities, journal entries, and reporting</li><li>Support internal and external audits with benefit-related schedules</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and maintain compliance</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)</li><li>3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in benefits or PEO environments</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP and benefit accounting practices</li><li><strong>Advanced command of Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large data sets</strong></li><li>Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting</li></ul><p><strong>Why Join?</strong></p><ul><li>100% remote role</li><li>Inclusive, collaborative culture</li><li>Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing organization</li></ul><p>&#128233; Interested? • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.<br>• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in benefits accounting or similar functions.<br>• Proficiency in account reconciliations and benefit billing processes.<br>• Familiarity with accounting systems and tools, including Microsoft Excel.<br>• Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage complex financial data.<br>• Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment with excellent communication skills.<br>• Experience with journal entries, general ledger management, and month-end close processes.<br>• Commitment to accuracy, integrity, and adherence to company policies and standards.
