We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Wilmington, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to leverage your accounting expertise and contribute to financial processes and reporting. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining cash flow forecasts, performing general ledger accounting, and ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and update cash flow forecasts using Microsoft Excel to ensure accurate financial planning.<br>• Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.<br>• Analyze financial statements to identify trends and ensure accuracy in reporting.<br>• Oversee revenue recognition processes in alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.<br>• Lead month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.<br>• Conduct account reconciliations to maintain integrity across financial records.<br>• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure proper alignment between internal records and external statements.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and support for financial decision-making.<br>• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.<br>• Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial operations.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.<br>• Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger accounting.<br>• Strong skills in creating and maintaining journal entries and reconciliations.<br>• Expertise in performing account and bank reconciliations.<br>• Familiarity with revenue recognition standards and practices.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial forecasting and analysis.<br>• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br>• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
