Medical Receptionist
<p>We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our client's team on a contract basis in Wethersfield, Connecticut. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth front-office operations, providing excellent service to patients, and maintaining an organized workflow. This is a position scheduled Monday through Friday, for a duration of 3-6 months.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.</p><p>• Manage scheduling for patient appointments efficiently.</p><p>• Handle registration processes, including verifying insurance information.</p><p>• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of patient information.</p><p>• Respond promptly to phone calls and address inquiries with attention to detail.</p><p>• Maintain the reception area to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.</p><p>• Coordinate with medical staff to support daily operations and patient flow.</p><p>• Monitor and manage daily appointment volume, accommodating approximately 60-70 patients per day.</p><p>• Provide support for administrative tasks as needed.</p><p>• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with medical office policies.</p>
• Prior experience in a medical front office or receptionist role.<br>• Proficiency in patient scheduling and appointment management.<br>• Familiarity with basic medical terminology.<br>• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to handle high patient volume while maintaining professionalism.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.<br>• Knowledge of insurance verification processes.<br>• Comfortable working standard hours, Monday through Friday.
