Desktop Support Analyst
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Westlake, Ohio. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support and customer service to employees across our global organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring our users have a seamless experience with their IT systems by troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide remote and on-site technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.<br>• Utilize remote support tools like Remote Desktop and Bomgar to diagnose and resolve user problems efficiently.<br>• Document and track technical support cases in the IT Help Desk system, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.<br>• Configure, image, and deploy Windows PCs to meet organizational needs.<br>• Manage user accounts, groups, and computers within Active Directory, ensuring proper access and security.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other common software applications.<br>• Identify opportunities for hardware and software improvements and provide recommendations to enhance system performance.<br>• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware components, including printers and peripheral devices.<br>• Work collaboratively with the IT team to support network infrastructure and address basic network troubleshooting needs.<br>• Provide clear and user-friendly communication when assisting technical and non-technical users.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting a Windows-based environment.<br>• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues independently.<br>• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, web browsers, and antivirus software.<br>• Hands-on experience with PC hardware, including installation and maintenance of peripherals such as printers and scanners.<br>• Familiarity with Active Directory, including creating and modifying user accounts, groups, and computers.<br>• Experience with imaging and deploying Windows PCs in a detail-oriented setting.<br>• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service.<br>• Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating a proactive and organized approach to tasks.
