We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Westford, Massachusetts. In this role, you will handle individual tax returns with precision and efficiency, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in tax preparation and familiarity with Lacerte Tax software.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and file individual tax returns accurately and in compliance with current tax laws.<br>• Review financial documents and identify potential deductions and credits.<br>• Utilize Lacerte Tax software to streamline the tax preparation process.<br>• Maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive client information.<br>• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and address inquiries.<br>• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and adapt processes accordingly.<br>• Conduct quality checks to ensure all filings are complete and error-free.<br>• Provide guidance to clients on tax-related matters and financial planning.<br>• Manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Proven experience in individual tax preparation.<br>• Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax software.<br>• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management skills.<br>• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.<br>• Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally.<br>• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.<br>• Familiarity with tax deductions, credits, and filing procedures.
