We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Waltham, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and a passion for precision and analysis.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee and contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Manage commission calculations and ensure proper documentation and reporting.<br>• Perform reconciliations for accounts and financial statements to maintain compliance and accuracy.<br>• Utilize advanced Excel skills to create detailed reports and perform in-depth financial analyses.<br>• Work within NetSuite to streamline accounting processes and maintain system integrity.<br>• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger with precision.<br>• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Collaborate with team members to improve reporting workflows and financial procedures.<br>• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.<br>• Ensure adherence to all accounting standards and regulations in daily operations.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.<br>• Proven expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance.<br>• Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation procedures.<br>• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.<br>• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting systems.<br>• Ability to perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively.<br>• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.<br>• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
