<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Santa Ana, California. This is a long-term contract position, offering a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic organization and contribute to key accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory accounting, reconciliation processes, and general ledger management.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Perform detailed inventory account reconciliations, including adjustments, reclassifications, and thorough research to resolve discrepancies.</p><p>• Collaborate with multiple departments to investigate and address accounting issues effectively.</p><p>• Prepare and post approximately 25-30 journal entries and manage 12 account reconciliations monthly.</p><p>• Utilize Blackline software for posting entries and completing balance sheet reconciliations.</p><p>• Conduct reserve calculations and ensure accuracy in inventory accounting.</p><p>• Identify and troubleshoot issues in automated Excel processes, working with team members to optimize formulas and formatting.</p><p>• Apply expertise in inventory reserves, warehouse transfers, and logistics entries to support monthly accounting tasks.</p><p>• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of general ledger operations and ensure compliance with company policies.</p><p>• Leverage experience in large-scale organizations to manage complex accounting functions efficiently.</p>

• Extensive experience in month-end close processes and inventory accounting.<br>• Proficiency in general ledger management and journal entry preparation.<br>• Advanced skills in account reconciliation and financial analysis.<br>• Familiarity with BlackLine software for balance sheet reconciliations and entry postings.<br>• Strong proficiency in Excel, including the ability to identify and resolve issues in automated processes.<br>• Knowledge of inventory reserves and warehouse transfer accounting.<br>• Proven track record of working in large organizations and handling complex accounting tasks.<br>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
