Accounting Assistant
<p>Our client, in the construction industry is in need for an Accounting Assistant to join their team on a Temp-to-hire basis! This role combines expertise in accounts receivable processes with front desk and administrative duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. If you are detail-oriented, love numbers and looking to get into Accounting, this position offers a dynamic work environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Billing, and processing invoices, and assisting the full-charge bookkeeper with any data entry</p><p>-Sitting at the front desk, greeting clients, and answering and redirecting phone calls.</p><p>• Perform filing and scanning tasks to organize records and documents effectively.</p><p>• Provide attentive and courteous support to visitors and clients at the reception area.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in accounts and ensure timely payments.</p><p>• Monitor and update accounting records to maintain data integrity.</p><p>• Assist with general administrative tasks to support office operations.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding account inquiries.</p>
<p>• Previous AR or accounting experience is preferred</p><p>• Familiarity with receptionist duties, including handling phone systems and greeting visitors.</p><p>• Strong organizational skills for managing filing and scanning tasks.</p><p>• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.</p><p>• Proficiency in using accounting software and office tools.</p><p>• High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.</p><p>• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.</p>
