Accounts Receivable Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Tonawanda, New York. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will play a key part in managing collections, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. This position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment while collaborating with teams across different locations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle business-to-business collection activities, including direct communication with customers and internal teams to address invoicing issues for assigned U.S. sites.<br>• Review and analyze past-due accounts in collaboration with the Finance and Commercial Team.<br>• Prepare and distribute Accounts Receivable Aging reports to monitor outstanding balances.<br>• Collaborate with international teams to resolve cash application or daily cash reconciliation challenges.<br>• Maintain accurate records of billing, collections, and account reconciliations.<br>• Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and escalate issues as necessary.<br>• Utilize financial software and tools, such as Oracle or similar platforms, to streamline accounts receivable processes.<br>• Provide support for periodic financial audits and reporting requirements.<br>• Foster strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to enhance communication and resolve disputes efficiently.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar financial role.<br>• Solid understanding of fundamental finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles.<br>• High school diploma or equivalent is required.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong skills in Excel.<br>• Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP is advantageous.<br>• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and personnel.<br>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.<br>• Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
