We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Thornton, Colorado. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a short-term project by leveraging your expertise in SAP S/4HANA and accounts payable operations within a manufacturing environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, this position may be a great fit for you.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, focusing on the accounts payable module.<br>• Assist with data migration, validation, and mapping to ensure accurate AP processes in the new system.<br>• Identify opportunities for process improvement and align workflows with SAP S/4HANA functionalities.<br>• Reconcile vendor accounts and manage invoice processing to maintain compliance during the transition.<br>• Provide expertise in manufacturing-related AP processes and propose optimizations for enhanced efficiency.<br>• Conduct comprehensive system testing and troubleshoot issues to ensure a seamless go-live experience.<br>• Train internal staff on new accounts payable workflows and SAP S/4HANA functionalities.<br>• Support vendor management activities and ensure timely payments during the implementation phase.<br>• Monitor financial compliance and controls throughout the project.<br>• Document all findings and improvements for future reference and knowledge sharing.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist, preferably within the manufacturing industry.<br>• Hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the accounts payable module.<br>• Strong knowledge of AP processes, including invoice coding, ACH payments, and check runs.<br>• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.<br>• Familiarity with financial compliance regulations and controls.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.<br>• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
