We are looking for a skilled ColdFusion Developer to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This Contract-to-permanent position focuses on maintaining and improving web applications that support both internal operations and public services. The ideal candidate will ensure the security, functionality, and performance of web-based systems while collaborating with team members to implement enhancements.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain and troubleshoot existing web applications to ensure optimal functionality.<br>• Provide technical support and guidance to the Webmaster for continued system improvements.<br>• Apply updates, patches, and enhancements to web systems in alignment with security and accessibility standards.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to analyze needs and implement system upgrades.<br>• Document workflows, procedures, and changes to support compliance and operational continuity.<br>• Monitor industry trends in ColdFusion, JavaScript, and web security to ensure systems remain up-to-date.<br>• Conduct regular assessments to verify system performance and address vulnerabilities.<br>• Support the integration of web APIs to expand functionality and improve user experiences.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.<br>• Minimum of five years of experience in web application development and maintenance.<br>• Proficiency in ColdFusion, JavaScript, HTML, and web APIs.<br>• Strong understanding of system security, accessibility standards, and web application integrations.<br>• Prior experience mentoring or providing oversight to technical staff is preferred.<br>• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.<br>• Ability to stay updated on advancements in web technologies and security practices.
