We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in managing invoicing, payment processing, and collections while contributing to the smooth operation of our accounting department. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented and familiar with service-based business operations. Responsibilities:• Input job details into the system• Prepare and issue invoices promptly upon job completion.• Process cash applications, including credit card payments, checks, and other methods.• Handle collections as needed to ensure timely payment from customers.• Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records.• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all transactions.• Communicate effectively with customers to resolve billing inquiries.• Support the Controller and other team members with ad hoc accounting tasks This is a permanent opportunity that will pay up to $62,400 annually. • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.• Familiarity with service-based business operations, such as construction• Proficiency in accounting software• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.• Friendly and detail-oriented approach to working within a team.• Understanding of cash applications and collections processes.
