We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Director/Manager of Financial Reporting to join our team in Tacoma, Washington. This role offers the opportunity to lead and enhance financial reporting processes as our company experiences significant growth and prepares for future milestones. As a key contributor, you will oversee critical accounting functions, compliance (SEC) initiatives, and reporting activities, while mentoring team members and collaborating across departments. Responsibilities:• Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.• Oversee technical accounting matters, serving as the subject matter expert on financial reporting processes and practices.• Supervise and mentor a senior accountant, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and development.• Manage financial reporting activities, including SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and external audits.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis (FP& A) reporting and drive data-driven decision-making.• Perform reconciliations and analysis to maintain accurate financial records and ensure consistency across reporting channels.• Contribute to the development and implementation of scalable processes to support the company’s rapid growth.• Participate in the preparation for the company’s transition to a public entity, including compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards.• Utilize tools such as Oracle and Workiva to streamline reporting and enhance operational efficiency.• Continuously identify opportunities to optimize financial reporting systems and processes. The salary range for this position is $150k to $180k. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with a match and 15 days of paid vacation, 5 days of paid sick leave and 10 paid holidays per calendar year.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred. • Extensive experience in financial reporting, including SEC reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP. • Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and regulatory reporting requirements. • Proficiency in financial systems such as Oracle and Workiva. • Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
