We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Syracuse, New York. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting essential accounting processes. Responsibilities: • Process daily invoices for customer orders and freight shipments. • Distribute invoices and monthly statements to customers in a timely manner. • Reconcile production and shipping orders at month-end and year-end to ensure accuracy. • Assist with the annual physical inventory and related accounting tasks. • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures to meet deadlines. • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger. • Handle additional accounting responsibilities as directed by the Controller.

• Proficiency in corporate tax processes, including sales tax and corporate tax returns. • Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger management. • Experience with financial reconciliation and month-end/year-end accounting. • Ability to manage inventory accounting and assist with physical inventory tasks. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams. • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
