We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Stockton, California, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accurate management of inventory records, verifying shipments, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct physical counts of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy.<br>• Compare shipment contents with invoices or packing lists to verify correctness.<br>• Inspect items for proper quantity, quality, and labeling upon arrival.<br>• Perform cycle counts regularly and investigate any discrepancies identified.<br>• Assist in receiving and unpacking shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage.<br>• Complete inventory audits and prepare detailed reports on findings.<br>• Maintain up-to-date inventory records using tracking systems and tools.<br>• Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline inventory processes and resolve issues.<br>• Support asset inventory management and annual physical inventory activities.

• Minimum of two years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations.<br>• Proficiency in using RF scanning systems for inventory tracking.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.<br>• Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively in a team setting.<br>• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse setting.<br>• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.<br>• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
