We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a mission-driven Non-Profit organization in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Responsibilities:• Maintain the general ledger by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring financial data integrity.• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice management and payment collections.• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations at local, state, and federal levels, particularly those relevant to healthcare and nonprofit organizations.• Collaborate with HR to support accurate payroll processing and reporting.• Assist with grant management by tracking activities and compiling necessary reports.• Partner with clinical staff and administrative teams to provide financial insights and improve communication around financial goals.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting roles. • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledgers. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes. • Familiarity with accounting regulations specific to healthcare and nonprofit sectors. • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with team members. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong analytical abilities to manage financial data accurately.
