HR Generalist
<p>We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support our Mid-Atlantic facilities in the Shenandoah Valley area. This role is essential in fostering a positive work environment and driving key HR initiatives, including employee relations, recruiting, and performance management. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to improving HR processes and ensuring compliance while contributing to the overall success of our teams.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws as well as company policies, maintaining compliance within all HR practices.</p><p>• Facilitate performance management processes, including coaching supervisors, organizing reviews, and ensuring proper documentation.</p><p>• Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and technical positions.</p><p>• Maintain and update HR data within company systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.</p><p>• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline and automate HR operations.</p><p>• Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for employees.</p><p>• Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.</p><p>• Support employee engagement activities and contribute to broader HR initiatives across multiple sites.</p><p>• Travel periodically to provide onsite HR support, approximately 5-10%</p>
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus.<br>• 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.<br>• Comprehensive knowledge of Virginia employment laws and HR compliance standards.<br>• Proficiency in HR information systems, such as Workday or similar platforms, along with experience in data reporting and process optimization.<br>• Proven track record in recruiting for technical roles within manufacturing environments.<br>• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.<br>• Ability to handle multiple priorities across various locations with efficiency.<br>• High level of integrity and discretion when managing sensitive information.
