<p>We are looking for a Veeam/Azure Disaster Recovery IT Engineer to join us on a contract basis to design and implement a robust Veeam Backup and Disaster Recovery solution. This role involves configuring a new Veeam environment that integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Azure and Office 365, ensuring data protection and recovery readiness. If you have a passion for creating secure and reliable cloud-based backup solutions, this opportunity in St. Petersburg, Florida is perfect for you.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Install and configure Veeam Backup & Replication on servers provided by the client.</p><p>• Set up and manage Veeam licenses, repositories, proxies, and storage within the backup environment.</p><p>• Migrate or import existing backups from previous Veeam setups where necessary.</p><p>• Configure Azure Blob storage as a target for Veeam Backup Copies to enhance data redundancy.</p><p>• Deploy Veeam agents on physical servers and configure backup jobs for both virtual machines and physical servers.</p><p>• Implement Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, including deployment, tenant connection, and backup scheduling.</p><p>• Develop and document a Disaster Recovery architecture for Azure-based recovery scenarios, such as Instant VM Recovery and bare-metal restores.</p><p>• Configure immutable backups and strengthen security measures, including off-domain backup server setups.</p><p>• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to train the internal IT team on the implemented solution.</p><p>• Provide detailed documentation of the final Veeam architecture, configuration settings, and backup schedules.</p>

• Extensive hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication in enterprise or mid-sized environments.<br>• Proficiency in integrating Veeam with Microsoft Azure storage solutions.<br>• Strong background in deploying and managing Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.<br>• In-depth knowledge of backup strategies, immutability, and disaster recovery planning.<br>• Familiarity with networking, storage systems, and identity dependencies crucial for disaster recovery workflows.<br>• Exceptional skills in creating thorough documentation and delivering effective knowledge transfer.<br>• Experience working with cloud storage solutions, including Azure Blob Storage.<br>• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in cloud security and backup solutions.
