We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Controller to lead the accounting operations of our organization in St. Charles, Illinois. This role is vital in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting, managing audits, and providing strategic leadership to the accounting team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing accounting and a proven ability to support financial decision-making at a high level. Responsibilities:• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure financial accuracy and timeliness.• Lead certified audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.• Supervise and mentor a team of three accounting professionals, fostering their growth and development.• Collaborate with senior management to support financial planning and strategic decision-making.• Maintain and enhance consistent financial practices aligned with the company’s long-standing accounting excellence.• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.• Provide detailed financial reports and insights to guide organizational strategy.• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting processes to support operational efficiency. Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $120,000 (flexible up to $135,000 depending on experience). Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k), with 75% of premiums paid by employer. PTO: 2 weeks, with flexibility up to 3 weeks based on experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Active CPA designation is required. • At least 5 years of recent experience in manufacturing accounting or as a Controller. • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and audit procedures. • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor accounting teams effectively. • Expertise in manufacturing cost accounting and financial statement preparation. • Proven track record of managing financial operations in a manufacturing environment.
