We are searching for an Account Specialist to join our team in the high-tech engineering industry. This role is based in Springfield, Vermont and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Account Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling their inquiries, resolving their issues, and selling our cutting-edge products and services. Responsibilities:• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries through various channels such as phone calls, emails, and online chats.• Sell and promote our company's products and services to both new and existing customers, using techniques such as up-selling and suggestive selling.• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our company's products, services, pricing, and technical capabilities to effectively communicate with customers.• Work with customers to answer questions about service features, options, upgrades, and billing/payment concerns.• Initiate service orders to begin, upgrade, or terminate service, and handle number porting requests to begin service.• Accept and post payments to customer accounts, and investigate and resolve customer billing issues.• Establish payment arrangements with customers according to credit policy guidelines.• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and record maintenance.• Assist with processing batch payments and applying monthly recurring credit card payments.• Use MS Office tools proficiently to perform tasks and manage customer data.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Hi Tech Engineering industry• Demonstrated skills in Customer Service and Call Center Customer Service• Proven experience in Inside Sales• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal• Proficiency in using MS Office 365 and MS Office• Basic Computer Skills are required• Experience in Answering Multi-Line Phone System• Ability to handle Inbound Telephone Calls efficiently and professionally• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the job's location• Candidates must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively• Strong problem-solving skills are necessary• High level of attention to detail and accuracy is required• Strong organization and time management skills are necessary• Candidates must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer focus.
