Our client in Springfield is seeking an experienced Accountant for a contract-to-permanent opportunity. This role offers a path to a permanent position with a dynamic organization and provides exposure to a variety of core accounting responsibilities. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Full-cycle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processing Bookkeeping duties, with accurate record-keeping and general ledger management Account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies Payroll processing Generating and pulling regular financial reports

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications: Demonstrated accounting background (education and/or relevant experience required) Hands-on experience with AP and AR processes Solid bookkeeping capabilities Proficient in account reconciliations Prior payroll processing experience Ability to generate and interpret reports from accounting software Key Attributes: High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach
