Office Assistant
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our client's team in Shelton, Connecticut. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting administrative operations, ensuring smooth processes, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in technology, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, providing prompt and attentive responses.</p><p>• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency.</p><p>• Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and resolve concerns.</p><p>• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.</p><p>• Support clerical tasks, including filing, organizing records, and maintaining office supplies.</p><p>• Assist with administrative duties within the admissions department.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless office operations.</p><p>• Handle basic office tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.</p><p>• Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software and related systems.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in daily operations.</p>
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.<br>• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<br>• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.<br>• Experience managing multi-line phone systems.<br>• Demonstrated ability to perform accurate data entry.<br>• Familiarity with accounting software systems is preferred.<br>• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
