Sr. Accountant
Robert Half is seeking a Technical Accounting Consultant to support a valued client during a critical period of transition and high operational demand. This engagement offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic organization as they navigate an ERP implementation while simultaneously preparing for year-end close. This position is hybrid, three days a week in Seattle. <br> The ideal candidate will be a experienced accounting detail oriented with a strong technical foundation, hands-on experience in ERP transitions, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role is essential in maintaining continuity of day-to-day accounting operations while internal resources are focused on strategic initiatives. <br> Key Responsibilities: Prepare consolidated financial reporting packages across 5–6 entities Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals Draft variance analyses and commentary to support internal and external reporting Perform financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data Support ad hoc projects as needed, including audit preparation and process documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience in account reconciliation, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation. • Demonstrated ability to manage month-end close processes and perform flux analysis. • Solid understanding of journal entries and accrual accounting. • Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Previous experience supporting audit processes is highly desirable.
