Desktop Support Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Scituate, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to end users, ensuring seamless hardware and software functionality. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and resolving technical issues efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and maintain onsite IT assets, including imaging, deployment, and repair of devices.<br>• Provide software support and assist with mobile device management and peripheral setup.<br>• Deliver hands-on network support as needed to address connectivity and infrastructure issues.<br>• Perform hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on laptops and Chromebooks.<br>• Collaborate with users to resolve technical problems and keep management informed of progress.<br>• Administer user accounts, including setting permissions, managing security settings, and configuring group access.<br>• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, tracing problems back to switches.<br>• Safely lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds while navigating buildings and production areas.<br>• Address incoming technical support tickets, resolving equipment and connectivity challenges promptly.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop or deskside support roles.<br>• Strong knowledge of IT services and products, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.<br>• Experience with PC imaging, deployment, and Chromebook enrollment.<br>• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.<br>• Ability to multitask effectively while managing client expectations and relationships.<br>• Familiarity with Active Directory for user account management.<br>• Proficiency in working with Windows 10 and desktop hardware.<br>• Positive attitude and the ability to remain motivated in a dynamic environment.
