Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries, accruals, and account reconciliations</li><li>Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes</li><li>Assist with preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP</li><li>Analyze financial data and present insights to leadership for strategic decision-making</li><li>Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities</li><li>Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors and assist with annual audits</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AP, AR, Payroll, and FP& A</li></ul>

Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required</li><li>CPA or CPA track preferred</li><li>4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public/private mix preferred</li><li>Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls</li><li>Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.); experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks)</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li></ul>Work Environment & Benefits<ul><li>Schedule: Monday–Friday, regular business hours</li><li>Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite in San Mateo, 2 days remote</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and growth</li><li>Collaborative and inclusive team culture</li></ul>
