<p>We are looking for an experienced Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in San Mateo, California. This role involves handling immediate legal tasks, including drafting motions, pleadings, and briefs, and supporting upcoming trials. The position offers flexibility, with the option to work remotely, onsite, or in a hybrid setup based on your preferences.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Draft and file motions in a timely and precise manner to support ongoing legal cases.</p><p>• Conduct thorough legal research to support litigation strategies and case preparation.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to manage discovery processes and ensure compliance.</p><p>• Prepare briefs and other legal documentation for complex business litigation.</p><p>• Provide strategic input and legal insight during trial preparation and proceedings.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure clarity and alignment on legal matters.</p><p>• Analyze case details and develop comprehensive litigation plans.</p><p>• Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of a dynamic legal environment.</p><p>• Offer support for overflow legal work and assist in maintaining a smooth workflow.</p><p>• Utilize general knowledge of civil litigation processes to contribute to case success.</p>

• Must hold a valid license to practice law in the United States.<br>• At least 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on complex business cases.<br>• Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.<br>• Strong research and analytical skills to handle intricate legal matters.<br>• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.<br>• Demonstrated ability to manage discovery processes and deadlines.<br>• Familiarity with trial preparation and courtroom procedures.<br>• Flexible availability to meet immediate and evolving project needs.
