A growing real estate investment firm is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its Accounts Payable function. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and process-driven professional with a strong accounting background and leadership experience, particularly within real estate, construction, or property management sectors. The Accounting Manager will oversee the Accounts Payable team, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, vendor communication, and compliance with tax and audit requirements. QualificationsEducation & Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent coursework from a 4-year college.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years as a general ledger accountant or similar role.</li><li>2+ years of management experience.</li><li>Experience in real estate, construction, or property management is required.</li></ul>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.</li><li>Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filters, sorting).</li><li>Experience with accounting software; Yardi preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with Tax and GAAP regulations is a plus.</li></ul>Core Competencies:<ul><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data accurately.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Proven leadership abilities and results-driven mindset.</li><li>Effective problem-solving and research capabilities.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interactions.</li></ul>Excited about this role?
