We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of multiple entities in Marin County, California. This role involves managing accounting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, leading a team while driving process improvements and maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities:• Lead and oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger management, payroll processing, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and cash flow monitoring.• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance.• Prepare and present detailed financial statements and reports, consolidating data from multiple entities with accuracy and timeliness.• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring reconciliations and journal entries are completed efficiently.• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, tax laws, and company policies, updating accounting procedures as needed.• Collaborate with external auditors to prepare for and facilitate audits across various entities.• Assist in the creation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.• Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and accounting processes, increasing efficiency and accuracy.• Work closely with other departments to align financial strategies and objectives across all entities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.• At least 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 or more years in a supervisory role.• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, along with advanced Excel skills.• Strong knowledge of financial consolidations and multi-entity accounting processes.• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
