We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in San Diego, California. In this position, you will play a key role in managing, analyzing, and maintaining data to ensure accuracy and usability. This is an onsite role, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to data-driven projects within the education sector. Responsibilities: • Analyze, clean, and migrate data across systems to ensure accuracy and integrity. • Write and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets efficiently. • Reimport cleaned data into appropriate systems while verifying consistency. • Maintain database objects and ensure optimal organization of stored information. • Collaborate with team members to identify data-related issues and provide solutions. • Transition systems from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 while preserving data quality. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting. • Ensure compliance with data security standards throughout all processes. • Document processes and methodologies for future reference and team training. • Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends and findings.

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL query writing. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Experience with data migration and cleaning processes. • Familiarity with transitioning systems, such as from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis. • Ability to handle large datasets and ensure data integrity. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively. • Background in education or experience working with schools is a plus, but not mandatory.
