Chief of Staff
<p>Robert Half is partnering with a San Diego–based manufacturing company seeking a highly skilled and resourceful Chief of Staff to support the CEO. This individual will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, driving organizational priorities, optimizing executive operations, and ensuring alignment across key initiatives. In addition to overseeing high-level projects, this role will retain key executive assistant responsibilities, including complex global travel coordination, expense management, and executive calendar oversight.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as a strategic partner and primary liaison for the CEO, ensuring alignment of priorities and seamless communication across departments and stakeholders.</li><li>Manage and streamline the CEO’s dynamic calendar, proactively prioritizing competing demands, scheduling complex meetings, and preparing detailed agendas and briefing materials.</li><li>Coordinate complex global travel logistics—including itineraries, accommodations, visa and passport requirements, and transportation—ensuring smooth execution and contingency planning.</li><li>Prepare, review, and reconcile expense reports with precision, ensuring compliance and timely submission.</li><li>Draft and prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.</li><li>Track key initiatives, deliverables, and follow-ups, driving accountability and progress across cross-functional teams.</li><li>Support and lead special projects, from concept to completion, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.</li><li>Represent the CEO in meetings and communications, exercising discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.</li><li>Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic plans, operational efficiencies, and process improvements.</li><li>Manage ad hoc requests and provide operational and administrative assistance to support executive decision-making and business continuity.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (Master’s preferred).</li><li>Proven experience supporting C-suite executives, ideally within a manufacturing or corporate environment.</li><li>Demonstrated success in managing executive operations and strategic initiatives at a high level.</li><li>Expertise in coordinating complex domestic and international travel and managing related compliance requirements.</li><li>Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience developing executive-level presentations.</li><li>Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.</li></ul><p><br></p>
