Case Specialist
<p>We are looking for a dedicated Case Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a crucial part in supporting individuals through case management and housing assistance services. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals, including those requiring social services. This role REQUIRES fluency in Farsi or Dari AND Pashto.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Review and analyze applications to ensure completeness and accuracy, assessing sustainability and logical alignment with program requirements.</p><p>• Provide case management services and housing assistance referrals to program participants.</p><p>• Maintain and update case files, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with established guidelines.</p><p>• Conduct follow-up communications to verify participant information, including changes in financial status or living arrangements.</p><p>• Collaborate with supervisors to finalize case reviews and approve funding requests.</p><p>• Respond to inquiries regarding case statuses and provide necessary information to participants.</p><p>• Make outbound calls to confirm details and address any discrepancies in participant cases.</p><p>• Support training initiatives and assist in onboarding new team members.</p><p>• Monitor ongoing cases, ensuring continued compliance and timely resolution of issues.</p>
<p>• Proficiency in Farsi/Dari AND Pashto is required.</p><p>• Previous experience in case management, social services, or customer service roles.</p><p>• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.</p><p>• Ability to analyze complex information and make logical decisions.</p><p>• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse populations.</p><p>• Familiarity with housing assistance programs or social service systems is preferred.</p><p>• Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.</p><p>• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards</p>
