We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to oversee critical accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records. In this role, you will manage essential accounting processes, including general ledger maintenance, month-end and year-end closings, and inventory accounting. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and expertise in accrual-based accounting. Responsibilities: • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports. • Ensure accurate accrual-based accounting practices, including proper recognition of receipts and payments. • Manage inventory accounting tasks such as valuation, reconciliation, and cost adjustments. • Handle accounting functions related to percentage-of-completion projects, tracking job costs and revenue recognition. • Prepare and maintain schedules for prepaid expenses, leases, and fixed assets. • Assist in the preparation of audits, financial analysis, and ad-hoc reporting requests. • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial records with operational activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or related industries. • Strong knowledge of accrual-based accounting, inventory management, and general ledger processes. • Proficiency with accounting systems such as Business Central or QuickBooks. • Familiarity with prepaid and lease accounting, as well as month-end close procedures. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Experience with construction accounting and audit processes is highly desirable.
