Human Resources Administrator
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Administrator to join our team in Salinas, California. In this Contract-to-ongoing position, you will play a key role in managing HR processes, with a focus on benefits coordination and employee onboarding. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization within the agriculture industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.<br>• Manage onboarding processes for new team members, including documentation and orientation.<br>• Handle leave of absence (LOA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests, providing guidance and support to employees.<br>• Maintain accurate records and prepare HR-related documents, such as legal correspondence and background checks.<br>• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and HR policies.<br>• Utilize HR software such as Workday or similar platforms to streamline processes and maintain data integrity.<br>• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and integration of HR practices.<br>• Support the Talent Acquisition team during recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and vetting candidates.<br>• Monitor compliance with labor laws and regulations to protect the organization and its employees.<br>• Assist in fostering a positive workplace culture through proactive HR initiatives.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.<br>• At least 3-5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on benefits administration.<br>• Strong knowledge of FMLA, LOA processes, and other legal HR functions.<br>• Familiarity with HR software, such as Workday or similar systems.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with employees at all levels.<br>• Experience handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
