<p><strong>Property Manager – Affordable Housing</strong></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p> We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee daily operations of an affordable housing community. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing <strong>tax credit (LIHTC) and/or HUD-regulated properties</strong> and a strong understanding of affordable housing compliance requirements.</p><p><br></p><p>This role requires a detail-oriented leader who can balance regulatory compliance, resident relations, financial oversight, and operational efficiency.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee daily operations of the property, ensuring compliance with LIHTC and/or HUD regulations</li><li>Maintain strict adherence to affordable housing compliance standards, including income certifications and recertifications</li><li>Supervise leasing, occupancy, and waitlist management</li><li>Manage rent collections, delinquencies, and reporting</li><li>Prepare and maintain compliance documentation for audits and regulatory reviews</li><li>Coordinate property inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed</li><li>Oversee maintenance operations and vendor relationships</li><li>Develop and manage operating budgets</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service to residents while enforcing community policies</li><li>Supervise onsite staff and foster a positive team environment</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Direct experience managing Affordable Housing properties</strong></li><li><strong>Hands-on experience with LIHTC (Tax Credit) and/or HUD programs</strong></li><li>Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and reporting requirements</li><li>Experience with income certifications and annual recertifications</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of Property Management experience</li><li>Yardi, RealPage, or similar property management software experience</li><li>Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience</li><li>CAM, HCCP, or similar certification preferred</li></ul><p><br></p>
