Human Resources (HR) Assistant
We are looking for a proactive Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Salem, New Hampshire. This is a Contract to permanent position offering an opportunity to develop your skills in HR administration and employee relations while working in a dynamic environment. If you have a strong aptitude for critical thinking, data management, and enjoy collaborating with teams, this role could be an excellent fit for you.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist with HR administrative tasks, including gathering and entering data into systems accurately.<br>• Support the team in managing and maintaining a large 401k plan, ensuring compliance and smooth operations.<br>• Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel and Oracle systems to organize and analyze HR-related data.<br>• Perform onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring all documentation and requirements are completed.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address employee relations matters and provide necessary support.<br>• Conduct background checks and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.<br>• Apply critical thinking skills to solve HR-related challenges and streamline administrative processes.<br>• Maintain a positive demeanor while interacting with employees and stakeholders.<br>• Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies and initiatives.<br>• Ensure consistent grooming and a neat appearance to represent the HR department effectively.
<p>• Previous experience in human resources administration or a related field - great but not required </p><p>• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Oracle systems.</p><p>• Strong organizational and data management skills.</p><p>• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.</p><p>• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</p><p>• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.</p><p>• A detail-oriented approach and ability to work effectively in a team environment.</p>
