<p>Remediate PDF forms and documents to meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements, with a strong focus on proper tagging structure, accessible tables and lists, fully accessible interactive form fields, accurate labels, tooltips, and instructions.</p><p>• Remediate documents with high page counts.</p><p>• Remediate Word documents that may be converted to PDF maintaining specified styles and best practices.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><p>• Demonstrated expert-level experience in digital accessibility, with a primary focus on </p><p>PDF documents and Adobe fillable forms.</p><p>• Deep working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA, including success criteria related to forms, </p><p>input assistance, and non-text content.</p><p>• Proven experience remediating interactive PDF forms, not just static documents.</p><p>• Advanced proficiency with tools such as:</p><p>o Adobe Acrobat Pro (including tagging, form field creation, and accessibility checker)</p><p>o Assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) for testing and validation</p><p>• Strong understanding of how users with disabilities interact with forms and documents.</p><p>• Ability to work independently and manage multiple remediation efforts efficiently.</p><p>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical accessibility concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</p><p>• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective </p><p>and timely manner; organize work, set priorities, and meet deadlines.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><p>• Relevant accessibility certifications, such as:</p><p>o IAAP CPACC</p><p>o IAAP WAS</p><p>o IAAP PDF Accessibility</p><p>o Trusted Tester or equivalent</p><p>• Experience working with:</p><p>o High-volume document libraries</p><p>o CommonLook PDF and CommonLook Office</p><p>• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager Forms (AEM) – Designer </p><p>• Familiarity with plain language principles as they relate to accessible forms.</p><p>• Experience advising organizations on accessibility strategy or standards</p>
