Responsibilities:• Oversee employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving disputes, and fostering a positive workplace environment.• Administer and coordinate employee benefits programs, providing support and guidance as needed.• Utilize HRIS systems, including training on Exponent HR, to maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR processes.• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR needs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.• Collaborate with leadership to implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.• Provide guidance and support to employees and managers, balancing empathy with adherence to company rules.• Maintain HR documentation and ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.• Support recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.• Assist in developing and executing HR initiatives that promote a positive and productive workplace culture.

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a smaller company environment. • Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, and onboarding/offboarding processes. • Familiarity with HRIS systems; willingness to learn and adapt to Exponent HR. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with HR standards and procedures. • Ability to balance empathy with sound judgment in decision-making. • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations to maintain compliance. • Proactive approach to problem-solving and managing HR functions effectively.
