Receptionist
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Receptionist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This is a contract position within the non-profit sector, offering an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while showcasing your administrative and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication abilities and a strong attention to detail, ensuring smooth daily operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring prompt and detail-oriented responses.<br>• Greet visitors and provide assistance, creating a welcoming environment.<br>• Maintain and organize filing systems to ensure easy access to important documents.<br>• Perform accurate numeric data entry tasks and maintain database integrity.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting as required.<br>• Handle computer-based data entry with speed and accuracy.<br>• Collaborate with team members to support administrative needs and office operations.<br>• Ensure the reception area remains tidy and organized at all times.<br>• Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings or appointments.<br>• Provide general administrative support as needed to enhance office efficiency.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role.<br>• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and handling inbound calls.<br>• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data organization and reporting.<br>• Demonstrated ability to perform accurate numeric data entry tasks.<br>• Familiarity with filing systems and document management.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.<br>• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
