We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the supply chain and inventory operations within the healthcare industry. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who enjoys spending their day on their feet in a bustling environment. Responsibilities:• Assist in the daily operations of the supply chain and inventory department.• Push carts and move items to designated areas for stocking and storage.• Load and unload inventory, ensuring items are handled with care.• Verify received goods by counting and matching quantities to records.• Organize and maintain inventory in bins and storage areas.• Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure accuracy.• Perform physical inventory checks and audits as needed.• Collaborate with team members to optimize stock management processes.• Address discrepancies in shipments or inventory counts promptly.• Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the workplace.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in inventory management or a related field.• Proficiency in inventory tracking and physical stock handling.• Familiarity with assembly line processes and asset inventory.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Capable of lifting and moving heavy items as required.• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.• Understanding of safety practices and procedures in warehouse settings.
